The boxer represents us, the people. Out of frame is another boxer, though only the boxing glove is in frame. The boxer is fighting an unknown person whom they only know to feel threatened by, despite not knowing who they are. Passing by is a bird flying in the opposite direction from where the boxer’s gaze is fixated. The bird is a messenger, attempting to divert the boxer’s attention to the real threat that is pulling the strings of division and continuous fighting amongst the people.
